Carta/Sumario del proyecto KA-102

Summary

The present project THE SCHOOL OF EUROPEAN ART. TRAINING AND LABOR INSERTION, aims to carry out an observation of good practices in art schools in different countries. Our project aims to update methodologically and organizationally our center and adapt it to the European premises, to achieve an improvement in the quality of teaching, an improvement of linguistic competences and expand the work horizons of our students, reversing all this in the good image of the center.

The observation will be carried out by five professors of our center who actively participate in the organization and operation of it from different areas: Coordination Department of International Relations, Department of Professional Family of Jewelery, ICT Coordination and Direction, Deputy Director and Head of Studies.

The main activity is the direct observation (jobshadowing) of the work methodology of centers of similar characteristics to ours. The methodology that will be carried out will be mainly active and will be based on:
– Periodic coordination meetings.
– Permanent contact with our collaborators through eTwinning and email.
– Preparation of a report that will gather all the information about good teaching practices observed in the destination center.
The project is completed with a training activity of short duration of the students of 2nd formative cycle of medium grade of goldsmith and silverware procedures.

Regarding the results and expected impact, we intend to acquire new methodological and organizational approaches that lead to an improvement in the teaching practice, as well as a gradual implementation of project work that promotes the improvement of classroom coexistence and academic results. of the students (and, therefore, of their motivation before the study). In this process we can not forget the use of new ICT tools as a means to achieve the above objectives, in addition to being used as a way to disseminate project achievements and communication between the different members of the educational community.

In the long term, the benefits we expect to obtain will be related to the objectives set:
– Make our students aware of the opportunities offered by internationalization.
– Expand the European experience to the students through the achievement of a KA2 with our partners.
– Encourage the students of the region to continue their studies after those carried out in our center.
– Compare methodologies and exchange experiences and materials among the participating centers.

The coordinator of International Relations of this School will collaborate closely in the management of practical and logistical matters with all the participants, in coordination with the Management Team. Likewise, the rest of the teaching staff will apply the lessons learned to improve their language classes.
